Controls Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer requirement reviews addressing overall specifications, component selection, machine control layouts and programming PLC and HMI to meet customer specifications
- Review the electrical and piping diagram package for product and/or system designs to meet customer requirements
- Prepare bills of material for the automation and controls package including specifying vendor components to use in final design
- Implement a complete software solution including PLC, HMI and other 3rd party devices programming from controls specifications and drawings
- Perform software installation, I/O testing and debugging of PLC and HMI software
- Participate in product and system design reviews, machine testing, installation and start-up.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Good electrical/mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Process Control equipment experience a plus.
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Proficient in Auto-CAD and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work with other engineering and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems on the shop floor
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Associates/Technical degree with prior programming and control systems design is acceptable.
- 2 years of experience with industrial electrical/machine control system design desired.
- Experience in Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC & HMI programming and products.
- Experience with communications networks (Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, and Profinet).
- Experience with electrical and pneumatic specifications and drawings/schematics.
- Knowledge of Electrical Code requirements such as NEC, NFPA, CE, CSA, is a plus.
- Experience with process loop tuning, VFD programming is a plus.
Experience with ACAD Electrical is a plus

Mechanical Designer
- Review with Project Engineer the scope of design. Seek and apply necessary information for proper use of specified components.
- Using Autodesk Inventor generate General Layout that maximizes the functionality and cost reduction.
- Use AutoCAD to create the functional diagrams.
- Prepare the necessary documentation for fabrication. Structural Frame design, Sheet Metal design (limited use)
- Participate in product and equipment design reviews, provide assistance during fabrication
- Develop conceptual designs
- Support design efforts to assist in meeting schedule and budget
- Support and assist in proposal development and maintain project documentation
- Responsible for all mechanical design aspects of products based on industrial design and other requirements
- Solve any product design development problems as needed and find balance of design solutions
- Review the dimensional and design data from suppliers and make necessary changes to the models and drawings
Required experience:
- Associates/Technical degree in CAD, Inventor applications 3 years min
- 2 years of experience with industrial piping and controls.

TIG Welder
Seeking a highly skilled, TIG Welder of Structural Framing and Piping G2 Certified. You must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
Required experience:
- Experience in piping of Sch 40 (Carbon/Steel/Stainless Steel) sized from 1/4″ to 8″ pipe.
HVAC/R technician
Seeking a highly skilled, experienced self-starter HVAC/R technician. Duties include setting up, operating, diagnosing, repairing and testing of Industrial Fluid Process heating and Cooling Equipment. Thorough understanding of electrical theory, refrigeration, pneumatics/hydraulics required. Ability to travel for service and start-up of new equipment required.
Required experience:
- HVAC/R Service Technician: 2 years
Custom Machine Builder(s)
Industrial OEM based in the process heating and cooling industry is seeking skilled machine builders/fabricators. Skill sets are to include ability to work independently, be self-sufficient, creative and likes to be challenged. Qualifications include; experience in Pipe Fitting, Mig/Tig and or orbital welding, tube bending, brazing and soldering needed. Must be able to read and follow blueprints. Overtime is required.
Industrial Electrician
Seeking an EXPERIENCED Industrial Electrician with background in panel building, point to point wiring.
Knowledge in wiring instrument controls, pumps, heaters, control valves & PLC logic, following NEC, NFPA 70 guidelines, including Class l Div ll, IL 508A and CSA/CE codes and regulations.
Required experience:
- Industrial Electrician: 3 years
Electrical Engineer
- Evaluates with the project engineer the scope of work. Reviews the sales and technical information/specifications in general and particularly the electrical systems requirements.
- Selects the electrical components as part of the general bill of materials applying knowledge of electricity and materials, and within the project budget.
- Confirms system’s functionality and components’ capabilities.
- Develops electrical design concept in compliance with the national, industry and customer specifications as well as with Budzar assembly methods and materials.
- Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; assists test department with finished products and system capabilities.
- Provides engineering information as requested by the project engineer.
- Provides technical support to Budzar sales department during quotation phase.
- Provides directions to the designers assigned for the job. Performs the final design verification before it is released to the project engineer.
- Provides additional training to designers, electrical or test departments.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Electrical Engineer Skills and Qualifications:
BSEE degree. Relevant experience with NEC, UL-508A, UL-1995, CSA and CE in industrial enclosures, low voltage power distribution and controls.
Electrical systems design: motor controls, low voltage power distribution.
Controllers including PLC (AB Micrologix, CompactLogix, SLC, Siemens)
Variable speed and soft start applications (AB, Square D, and Toshiba)
Solid state devices in power controls
Controls system design: pressure, temperature and motion.
